The tradition of the Santa Clara Historic Home Tour, which began 37 years ago, will proudly continue this December.  The Historic Preservation Society of Santa Clara sponsors the tour with the assistance of the Old Quad Residents’ Association for the benefit of historic preservation projects and non-profit groups in Santa Clara.

The four private homes featured are:

Coffin-Gil House, a Queen Anne Cottage

Alves-Loboa, a Stripped Queen Anne Victorian

   Tower House, a Minimal Traditional

   Farfan-Nicholls House, a Craftsman Bungalow

The public building on the tour will be the Santa Clara Railroad Depot which began serving passengers in 1864 and now includes a Museum and Library run by the South Bay Historical Railroad Society.  The two-story Santa Clara Interlocking Control Tower at the depot will be open Saturday only.

The Railroad Depot will be the site of the Santa Clara Arts & Historical Consortium opportunity drawing and refreshments.
